Burning waste to produce electricity: A sustainable solution

Waste and how we deal with it are among the key global environmental challenges we all face. What we can do about managing waste, both collectively and as individuals, is therefore critically important in improving the planet we live on.
Ahead of this year's World Earth Day that fell on April 22, China Daily reporter Owen Fishwick visited Beijing Chaoyang Clean Incineration Center to find out how burning waste to produce electricity is one solution out there that can mitigate the impact of waste.
