Peony flowers in full bloom at Heyuan Garden

Heyuan Garden in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is one of the best places to admire peony flowers. 

A variety of peony flowers have been planted around the garden's pavilions, terraces and open halls, forming a colorful sight that is complemented by the garden's classic architecture. 

Visitors can also admire Midori cherry blossoms at the garden.

The garden, which is renowned for its architecture and layout, is a major historical and cultural site under national-level protection. 

Listed among the first group of 20 national key parks, the garden is a national 4A scenic area.
