Orix Corporation, a Fortune Global 500 company, recently set up another company in Qingdao, Shandong province with 200 million yuan ($29.03 million) in registered capital.
Orix Financial Leasing (Qingdao) Co, which is wholly owned by Orix Financial Leasing (China) Co, is registered in the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The Orix Financial Leasing (China) Co was founded in 2005 by Orix and registered in Shanghai, and is the largest Japanese financial leasing enterprise in China.
In September 2021, Orix set up a branch in Qingdao, which marked the city's first industrial operation headquarters of a Fortune Global 500 company.
