Video: Zibo silversmith passes on craft know-how, culture

When master silversmith Wu Peng – who lives in Zibo city, East China's Shandong province – makes a fine silver fruit platter, he uses the intricate steps of the annealing process, first heating then cooling the piece, to temper and fashion its shape.

It's a painstaking process that involves repeatedly polishing the platter nearly 100 times.
