Taiyuan adds 4 national intelligent manufacturing pilot projects

Four enterprises based in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, have been selected as national intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects since 2022.
They are the Second Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co, Zhiqi Railway Equipment Co, and Keda Automation Control Co.
According to the Shanxi Department of Industry and Information Technology, Shanxi will develop a number of major iconic intelligent equipment products with strong competitiveness in casting, coal machinery, coking, and iron and steel industries, and create a number of key common technologies in these industries.
The province will also develop intelligent mines and implement intelligent transformation in key industrial clusters.
