The China Huaiyang Cuisine Museum in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province will be opened to the public in March following the completion of its renovations, according to authorities.

The renovated museum will consist of a display area and an experience area aimed at promoting Huaiyang cuisine culture, said a local official.

The display area, which was built by a renowned salt businessman in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), will hold activities such as exhibitions and study tours.

These activities will allow visitors to learn more about the salt merchant culture and local cuisines.

In addition, Yechun Garden, which was famous for its Huaiyang cuisine and dim sum, will also be reopened in March after the completion of renovations.
