The live-action drama The Memories of Mudu was staged at the Yan Family Garden in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, on Feb 4. It was quite an immersive experience as performers and audience shared an intimate space and at close distance.
With a history dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the Yan Family Garden is known for promoting aesthetic performances and is considered a cultural landmark.
