The Hubei Provincial Museum is home to a pair of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) round white jade accessories carved with two rabbits admiring the moon. On the accessory, five clouds accompany the moon in the middle of the upper side, under which lies a loquat tree. Under the tree, a large and a small rabbit are admiring the moon. The two accessories share the same texture, color, shape, size and patterns, but the patterns are mirrored. Aren’t the rabbits adorable?
