17 Huangpu enterprises selected as 'Guangzhou leaders'

In the 2022 "Guangzhou Leaders" activity, 30 enterprises in Guangzhou were selected on Jan 11, of which 17 are based in Guangzhou's Huangpu district.

Among the selected enterprises, there are six that have outstanding capital attraction capabilities, five that have strong sci-tech innovation skills, and six that have the most growth potential.

The total number of Huangpu enterprises on the list accounted for 57 percent of Guangzhou's number, an increase of 27 percent from 2021, ranking first in Guangzhou.

By the end of 2022, the listed companies in the district reached 77, accounting for more than 30 percent of Guangzhou's total.

In the past three years, listed companies based in Huangpu have raised more than 45 billion yuan ($6.66 billion) in Initial Public Offering (IPO), mainly for headquarters base projects, industrialization base upgrading and expansion projects, and R&D center construction projects.

In the future, Huangpu will continue to help enterprises and focus on improving the quality of enterprise operations and sustainable development.

A total of 17 to-be-listed enterprises based in Huangpu district are named in the 2022 Guangzhou Leader activity.
