Spring Festival celebrations brighten up Lanzhou Old Street

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, several New Year lantern shows are being held at the "old street" scenic spot in Lanzhou, Gansu province.

Exquisite lanterns light up the night sky, presenting a glittery atmosphere for visitors. In addition to the colorful lanterns, there is also a Spring Festival market, which is hustling and bustling with excitement.

Located in Qilihe district, the project of Lanzhou Old Street with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan ($412.72 million) started construction in 2016. With a total construction area of 160,000 square meters, the project is focused on local historical heritage and offers catering, accommodation, transport, visit, shopping and entertainment.
