Yangtze Optical Electronic Co (YOEC) – a company based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) – was listed on the STAR Market of Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), becoming the first listed fiber optic ring manufacturer in China.
It is the valley's fifth company to go public this year and the 12th company in Hubei province to go public on the SSE STAR Market.
YOEC was founded in 2010 and focuses on the research and development, production and sale of five categories of products, including special optical fibers and cables, special optical devices, new materials, high-end equipment and optoelectronic systems. It has also been selected as a national specialized and new little giant company.
The Optics Valley of China is currently accelerating the building of a top-of-the-line sci-tech innovation financial center in China by formulating financial industry development plans, action plans and supporting policies. It has also established a unique "131" full-life-cycle service system for enterprises seeking to go public.
