2022 Ningbo Marathon held at Dongqian Lake

The 2022 Ningbo Marathon was held at Dongqian Lake in Ningbo's Yinzhou district on Dec 18.

The race, which was first held in 2015, returned this year following a three-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event consisted of a full marathon, a half marathon and a 5km race.

Chinese runner Li Zicheng finished first in the men's full marathon with a time of 2 hours 17 minutes and 45 seconds, while Zhao Yali won the women's full marathon with a time of 2 hours 48 minutes and 49 seconds.

The race started from the intersection of Dongqian Lake Avenue and Huanhu West Road and passed by many attractions around Dongqian Lake, including Hanling Old Street, Taogong Island, Fuquan Mountain, and Ningbo Wildlife Park.
