OVC Entrepreneurs' Day to be launched soon

The first OVC Entrepreneurs' Day will soon be launched in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), according to news released by the valley's enterprise service bureau on Nov 23.

OVC Entrepreneurs' Day will reportedly invite local industry leaders to tell stories about how they started their businesses.

The report to the 20th CPC National Congress pointed out that China will advance the integrated development of emerging businesses, form new growth engines in the areas of information technology, artificial intelligence, biological technology, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment, and environmental protection, and accelerate the construction of a series of strategic and forward-looking national major sci-tech projects to bolster the nation's independent innovation capacity.

The Optics Valley of China, which has an average age of 32, is currently home to more than 4,300 high-tech companies, among which 95 have been selected as State-level specialized and new enterprises.

Now OVC is soliciting opinions from the public about the activity topics and logo of OVC Entrepreneurs' Day.

The industrial cluster public service platform plays a vital role in redistributing and integrating resources, as well as the growth and prosperity of industrial clusters. The valley will also select the top 10 industrial cluster public service platforms and grant them awards.
