Kunming sees first Vietnamese dong market purchase and trade settlement

On Nov 10, the Kunming market procurement trade pilot achieved the first Vietnamese dong settlement business of 1.03 billion (300,000 yuan), also the first of its kind in China. It marks a new breakthrough in the financial service trade.

The Vietnamese dong was transferred to the customer’s Vietnamese dong account, which was opened at the Agricultural Bank of China in the Kunming Pilot Free Trade Zone specifically for the customer’s income from the export of agricultural products. Customers can directly transfer overseas income of Vietnam dong into their bank accounts.
