A cultural park with supporting facilities will be built along the Bodu River in Xinwu district, Wuxi, in order to further improve living facilities for residents.

The park will be built south of Taibo Avenue and east of Xixing Road. It will cover a land area of about 24,696 square meters and a construction area of 6,451.58 square meters.

A landscape building covering about 2,665.58 square meters will be built on the ground area to be used as a recreational area for residents to walk and relax.

The project is expected to start construction in March 2023 and be completed in December of the same year.

People will be able to relax, admire the surrounding views, and learn about the culture and history of Bodu River at the cultural park.

The cultural park, along with the Bodu River Cultural Center to be built on the east side, is expected to become a collection of cultural facilities with complex functions in Xinwu district.

An underground parking area with about 99 parking lots will be built as well.
