2022 Science Asia Conference held

The Zhongguancun Life Science Park Development Forum brought together domestic scientists.

Hu Baoyang, president of the Institute of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, explained cell therapy, organ manufacturing and artificial life. Professor Ji Jiakui from the School of Medicine of Tsinghua University shared the research and application of stem cells and single-cell omics in reproductive medicine. 

The offline conference was viewed more than 500,000 times, with its online platform receiving over 1.5 million likes.

Attendees also visited the Beijing Clinical Biological Sample Resources Public Service Platform, the Zhongguancun Cell and Gene Therapy Innovation Incubation Platform, and the Macromolecular Biopharmaceutical Technology R&D Platform on Oct 27.

At the final roundtable meeting, guests of the participating enterprises, focusing on "challenges and opportunities of the stem cell industry", discussed the development status and prospects of enterprises in the stem cell field.
