With the song of eulogy played, the ceremonial soldiers raised the coffins of the volunteer martyrs, circled the square for half a round, and slowly walked toward the burial palace. All the audience lined up silently and solemnly, presented flowers to the martyrs, and viewed the martyrs' wall of fame in reverence.

"Due to martyrs' great contributions, the country has become strong, people gotten rich, and the nation has achieved great rejuvenation. Martyrs, your name will always be remembered and mourned by the people, " said Pei Jinjia, head of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

He said the heroes' mission had been completed, they should rest in peace in their homeland instead of staying in a foreign country. The martyrs' cemetery is tranquil and pleasing with pine and chrysanthemum trees accompany.

Since 2014, a total of 913 Chinese volunteer martyrs have rested in Shenyang Volunteer Martyrs' Cemetery, including the special level combat heroes of Huang Jiguang and Yang Gensi. As an important patriotism education base, more than 20 million people so far have visited graves since the establishment of the park.
