Ceke Port, located near the boundary pillar 572 on the border between China and Mongolia, is an international channel open to the north for Alshaa League. It has now developed into the fourth largest land port in China and the third largest land port in the autonomous region.

Ceke is an important node of the ancient Silk Road. Located in the northern traffic hub of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the west wing of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Belt, Ceke is the bright pearl on the Silk Road.

In 1992, it was approved by the people's government of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region to become a seasonal open port.

Approved by the General Administration of Customs on Sept  29, 2004 and the State Council on June 29, 2005, it becomes a bilateral border land port open all the year round between China and Mongolia, with road passages and special railway coal transportation passages.

The border area of Mongolia corresponding to Ceke Port is an undeveloped area, which contains rich precious metal mineral resources such as gold, copper, aluminum and lead, and needs to be developed urgently. Ceke Port has created favorable conditions for optimizing the allocation of resources between China and Mongolia and developing foreign economic and trade, and opened up an important trade channel for the Ejine Banner.

It has played the role of a developing economy, enriching the people and a city for the opening up of Ejine Banner and local economic development, forming a unique advantage of driving the development of multiple industries.
