Cili Service Area of the G5513 Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway is one of the service areas with large traffic flow along this expressway. It was built in 2005 and covers an area of 36 mu (24,000 square meters).

To better meet the people's demand for better travel and provide a comfortable and better travel experience for passing drivers and passengers, the quality of Cili Service Area was improved in combination with regional cultural characteristics of Western Hunan.

After more than 40 days and nights of hard work, Cili Service Area has taken on a new look.

The improved appearance of the service area

The gate is designed according to the architectural style of Tujia people in western Hunan. The eaves are equipped with light bands. The signboards on the facade are replaced with luminous ones. The iron barriers before the isolation area are now replaced by flower walls.

The optimized parking lot

The ground of the parking lot is repaved with sand instead of cement, which effectively improves the traffic environment, enhances the road's ability to absorb dust and drain rainwater, and reduces traffic noise.

Parking areas with different functions are set up for hazardous chemicals, trucks, buses, small cars and others, with warm signs added and different color ground signs. This will improve parking congestion on holidays.

The improved dining environment

The restaurant in the comprehensive building of the service area was decorated in accordance with Tujia customs to create a beautiful dining environment.

The once idle area was transformed into a warm post station for drivers and passengers, where chairs, water heaters and other facilities are available. Rich regional specialties can be provided for drivers and passengers.
