A ceremony was held on Sept 13 for Linktel Technologies Co in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone, also known as Optics Valley of China or OVC, which has just become the valley's 55th listed company.
Optics Valley is located in Wuhan city – capital of Central China's Hubei province – which has to date seen a total of 93 of its resident enterprises go public.
Linktel is a high-tech company mainly operating in research, production and sales of optical communications devices and optical modules.
The company's workforce has grown from just four in 2011 to more than 1,000 now. It has also achieved transnational operations and offers advanced products in fields of optoelectronic integration, optical devices and modules.
The company has now become a global mainstream optical module supplier whose clients include Nokia, ZTE and FiberHome. In 2020, it ranked seventh in terms of domestic optical module sales. Statistics indicate the company enjoys nearly 3 percent of the market share in China.
"Linktel was born and grows in the Optics Valley of China. In the future we will continue to focus on our main business and thrive in the area," said Zhang Jian, president of the firm.
Moving forwards, Linktel is said to be well on its way to becoming a leading international optical module and optical connections solution provider – by making full use of big data, cloud computing, the internet of things and artificial intelligence.
