WND pilots high-quality manufacturing development

The list of the first group of demonstration areas for high-quality manufacturing development was released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu on Aug 1.

The Wuxi National Hi-tech District was one of the regions in Jiangsu province to be included.

The total output value of the industries above designated size in the district exceeded 550 billion yuan ($81.41 billion) in 2021.

IoT, integrated circuits and other advantageous industries have significantly increased their influence across the country, the scale of high-end equipment manufacturing and biomedical industries has grown rapidly, and the output of 12 industrial clusters exceeded 10 billion yuan, including two industrial clusters with an output of 100 billion yuan and four industrial clusters with an output of over 50 billion yuan.
