Investment in Jinpu rises remarkably

A team from Jinpu New Area went to Sichuan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Hunan and Shaanxi to attract investment from June 11th to 17th.

A total of 23 key projects were signed, covering a wide range of sectors such as health and medicine, automobiles and auto parts, new energy, and advanced equipment manufacturing.

One signed project is a cooperation agreement between Jinpu New Area and Liaoning Minkang Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Kelun Pharmaceutical in Chengdu, Sichuan province on June 12.

Another cooperation agreement was signed with Ferro Tec (Anhui) Technology Development Co Ltd on June 14. The company will provide precision cleaning services for semiconductor equipment and build a semiconductor material production base in Jinpu New Area.

In addition, Jinpu New Area signed cooperation agreements with 17 enterprises including Chery Automobile Co Ltd, Wuhu Chery Technology Co Ltd, Wuhu Bonaire Automotive Electrical System Co Ltd and Shenzhen Hopewind Electric Co Ltd on June 15.

Chery will further invest 1 billion yuan ($149 million) for upgrading production lines to produce new vehicle models.

Wuhu Chery, a subsidiary of Chery Automobile, will introduce auto parts enterprises into Jinpu New Area to supply interior and exterior decorations, systems integration, chassis, electrical appliances, new energy and intelligent interconnections, all in support of Chery Automobile’s Dalian factory.

The first group of 17 Chery auto parts companies will settle down with a total investment of around 500 million yuan and an estimated annual output value of about 6.5 billion yuan.

Meanwhile, Shenzhen Hopewind Electric Co Ltd plans to build a regional management headquarters in Jinpu New Area to integrate R&D, manufacturing, sales and service for Northeast China, eastern Mongolia and Northeast Asia.

Jinpu New Area also signed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Inovance Technology Co Ltd on June 16. Based on the need for high-power variable-frequency motors, the company will acquire Dalian Zhiding Technology Co Ltd, a company in Jinpu New Area.
