Visa policy adjusted to facilitate work resumption in Suzhou

Applications for visas to China were adjusted recently in order to facilitate exchanges and cooperation, the Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office announced recently.

Recent notices from Chinese embassies in several countries announced that foreign nationals who have been permitted to work in Suzhou, as well as family members of those coming to Suzhou for work resumption, including those who have been working in Suzhou, are no longer required to apply for an invitation letter.

Instead, they can apply for visas to China on work permission or certificates of kinship as per the latest notice of the Chinese embassy in their country. Please follow the official websites or WeChat public accounts of Chinese embassies for detailed information.

To optimize procedures for the issuance of an invitation letter and effectively promote production and work resumption, Suzhou recently authorized the Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Kunshan Municipal People's Government, and Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee to issue the invitation letter.
