Haimen stimulates consumption of home textile products via livestream

The commercial department of Haimen district and the government of Sanxing town recently launched the "618 e-commerce livestream" activity to promote the online sale of home textile products, local media reported on Jun 16.

Haimen will give a reward of 10,000 yuan ($1,492.29) to home textile e-commerce enterprises that set up operations in the Dieshiqiao livestream base in Sanxing town if their invoiced sales reach 5 million yuan during promotional activities in June. Enterprises with invoice sales of 10 million yuan will be given a reward of 20,000 yuan.

Jiangsu Daiheng Home Furnishing Technology Co Ltd at the Dieshiqiao home textiles cross-border e-commerce center will invest 2 million yuan in advertising and promotion during the 618 shopping festival on online shopping platforms such as JD.com and Douyin.

According to Li Na, head of the company's e-commerce livestream business department, 10 livestreaming rooms will be prepared for the 618 shopping festival, which will be livestreaming for 24 hours a day to offer better services. A total of 250,000 items will be sold at a 50-percent discount during the event.
