An exhibition of handicrafts created by 125 young artists from the southern part of East China's Jiangsu province is being held in the west branch of the Suzhou Museum until Aug 7, local media outlets reported.

A total of 175 pieces or sets of exhibits falling into 17 categories are on display, including paper cuttings, jade carvings, bamboo carvings, gold carvings, wood carvings, fans, coated lacquer, and kesi, a traditional type of decorative silk work.

Unlike the first exhibition in 2019, which only featured works by Suzhou artists, the second exhibition features works by people from Wuxi and Changzhou, offering a more comprehensive interpretation ofJiangnan, or regions in the southern reaches of the Yangtze River.
