Jinan to host World Laser Industry Conference

The 2022 World Laser Industry Conference will be held in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, from June 24 to 26.

The conference will invite laser enterprises, scientific research institution and associations, as well as academicians, experts and industrial leaders from home and abroad to discuss the latest development in the laser industry.

It will host five events including the world laser equipment industry development forum, the laser equipment industry exhibition, and the China-Germany laser technology and investment exchange activity.

The conference aims to provide a platform for exchanges, cooperation and trade to promote the international development of Jinan's laser industry.

Jinan has a good foundation for developing the laser industry and is the largest laser industrial base in northern China. The city now is home to nearly 700 laser enterprises. The city's revenue from the laser equipment industry is expected to reach 50 billion yuan ($7.42 billion) by 2025.
