WND firm supports China's fight against epidemic

Wuxi NEST Biotechnology Co, located in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District, recently received a special task list from the medical materials support group of the State Council's Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for COVID-19.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak in Northeast China's Jilin province, the company was asked to provide test tubes for nucleic acid sampling for epidemic prevention control efforts in Jilin.

After learning of the requirement, the company did all it could to speed up production and transportation. The district's industry and information technology bureau also provided support for the transportation of goods.

As a professional manufacturer of consumables, Wuxi NEST Biotechnology Co has carried out work related to the research, development and production of equipment to aid epidemic prevention and control efforts. The company has launched over 600 kinds of new products for nucleic acid tests and two production lines for laboratory consumables and medical devices.

In 2020, the single-use sampler produced by the company obtained FDA emergency use authorization.
