Yan Zhuo, 30, is the team's only female member. Hailing from Beijing's Daxing district, she achieved her personal grand slam with this win -- titles from the National Games, World Championship and Olympics.

Many of her neighbors watched the games and cheered for her.

Yan was very excited after winning the gold medal match. "Everyone on the team did a good job," she said.

"Women can perform well in this sport," she added. As curling is a sport crackling with wit, she hopes that more people will engage in and feel the charm of this sport.
