Huangpu-made robots disinfect Olympics venue

Robots developed by Saite Intelligence from Guangzhou's Huangpu district contribute to the anti-epidemic work at the ongoing Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Founded in 2017, Saite Intelligence is a leading domestic enterprise that provides full-scenario solutions for intelligent unmanned equipment. It has realized a mass production of delivery robots, disinfection robots, intelligent disinfection cabins, and autonomous driving sweepers, which contribute to the construction of smart hospitals and smart cities.

A robot developed by Saite Intelligence is on duty at the Capital Indoor Stadium during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Since the trial competitions, the robots have been on duty at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing. They are capable of both temperature measurement and environment disinfection while automatically avoiding obstacles during the process.

According to an executive responsible for the North China business affairs of Saite Intelligence, users only have to add disinfectants in advance and the robots will disinfect the venues at a scheduled time automatically.

The robots are equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, as well as effective factor concentration sensors. They can judge if the disinfection effect is up to standard based on relevant data and adjust disinfection areas accordingly.
