College students put unique spin on Yangzhou food

Drawings of signature traditional food in Yangzhou recently went viral online.

The drawings, created by a group of students from Yangzhou University, depicted several of the city's traditional foods, namely Fuchun Baozi, Shizitou, and duck vermicelli soup.

Shizitou, or Lion's head, is braised pork meatballs in brown sauce.

Fuchun Baozi are steamed buns stuffed with beans and served at Fuchun teahouse, a historic traditional teahouse in Yangzhou.
