Optics Valley builds new healthcare industrial park

The first phase of the healthcare industrial park in the East Lake Science City, located in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), recently began operating.

Combining research, pilot-scale experiments, technology transfers, production, storage, business and living facilities, the park occupies a total construction area of 210,000 square meters. The second phase is scheduled to start construction after the Spring Festival.

Based on the business layout principle that puts R&D space on the upper floor and the workshop on the lower floor of the building, nine-meter-high floors have been designed to meet the various demands of different enterprises.

A full-fledged smart park sensing system has been established within the park to help enterprises with digitalization and industrial internet.

The park will also provide complete living infrastructure for workers, including apartments, canteens, convenience stores, coffee and book bars, gyms, and underground parking lots.

Business attraction work is currently underway, with more than 40 companies interested in setting up operations in the park.
