Costumes reflect the culture and history of a group of people. Diverse ethnic groups have lived along the Yangtze River since ancient times, forming their own distinct cultures.
The Changjiang Civilization Museum in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei province inaugurated an exhibition on Wednesday, showcasing more than 130 traditional ethnic costumes, embroideries, and accessories from the Tibetan (Zang), Qiang, Yi, Bai, Tujia, Miao, Dong, Naxi and Yao ethnic groups along the Yangtze River.
