Changzhou University opens Xu Peichen Art Museum

Changzhou University in Changzhou, East China's Jiangsu province opened the Xu Peichen Art Museum on its campus on Dec 18.

Xu Peichen is a renowned artist famous for his Chinese paintings of monkeys. He donated about 100 of his works and more than 50 masterpieces by other well-known artists to the museum.

"I hope my works can improve students' artistic sense and that they can feel the power in my paintings," said Xu.

According to Huang Haiyan, vice-principal of the university, the museum will be open to the public in the future.
