Based on the award-winning eponymous novel by writer Liu Zhenyun, the absurd realism drama I Did Not Kill My Husband will be staged at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in May. Besides adopting the novel’s depth and female perspective, the drama production also integrates traditional Chinese opera images into modern dramatic ones. Tickets are available now.
