The 24th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo will be held in Beijing from Sept 24 to 28, 2021.
The China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) is a major annual technology expo held in Beijing every May, and is sponsored by a number of national government agencies, including China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the people’s government of Beijing municipality.
Established in 1998, CHITEC has now grown into a highly-specialized international technology and trade event, in which China can showcase its high-end technology, share cutting-edge theories, as well as facilitate international economic and technical cooperation.
Aiming to promote the commercialization, market-oriented operation, and internationalization of the technology industry, the expo is held annually in Beijing. So far, it has been held 23 times.
According to incomplete statistics, 1,179 oversea delegates from more than 100 countries and regions took part in the previous 23 sessions of CHITEC. A total of 38,504 organizations and enterprises participated, attracting 5.71 million visitors. 1,084 forums and promotional trades were held, signing 5,659 contracts, agreements and intentional agreement with a total value of 1.06 trillion yuan ($163.4 billion).
The 24th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo, as part of the exhibition section of the 2021 Zhongguancun Forum, will be held both online and offline in Beijing from Sept 24 to 28, 2021. This 5-day expo will have exhibition areas including smart technology, big health, high-tech Olympics, carbon neutrality among others, and aims to hold a global-oriented expo for micro, small, and medium enterprises and startups. 10 promotional meetings will also be held during the exhibition.
