The 3rd Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is set to be held at Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area from May 20 to 23.

This event establishes a platform to attract investment, promote communication and cooperation and boost opening-up by hosting exhibitions, forums and signing ceremonies.

The opening ceremony and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) Forum will be held on May 21. As this year's WCIFIT attaches great importance to ILSTC, the forum will be the event's main forum. It will be followed by conferences and forums focused on extensive consultations, joint contributions, shared benefits and development.

The first Asia Enterprises Conference-Chongqing Summit will also be held during the event, with former Asian politicians and business leaders from prominent multinational enterprises invited to deliver speeches.

Along with the signing ceremony for significant projects – a highlight of the event, industry forums, roadshows and contests will also take place. These include the healthcare industry summit forum, Chongqing-Algeria Economy and Trade Cooperation Promotion activity and the "RCEP and opening Chongqing" international cooperation forum.
