Announcement of Shanghai Customs on Establishing a Customs Service Window in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone

For the purpose of supporting the implementation of the reform of the record filing system for investment management in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and establishing a government service mode featuring “one-off acceptance, integrated approval, and efficient operation”, Shanghai Customs has decided to establish a Customs service window at the General Service Hall of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (“General Service Hall”) so as to facilitate relevant affairs involved by the enterprises within the zone. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

I. Scope of enterprises involved

Enterprises that are registered in the Yangshan Free Trade Port Area, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Logistics Park and Shanghai Pudong Airport Free Trade Zone.

II. Scope of businesses accepted at the Customs service window

(I) The registration, continuation and alteration to be made by Customs declaration unit, the registration, continuation, alteration and de-registration of Customs declarers as well as other Customs affairs;

(II) Consultation on and application for a pilot innovative project relating to Customs in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone; and

(III) Consultation on other businesses relating to Customs.

III. Address of the General Service Hall and telephone number of the Customs service window

Address: the hall on the 1st floor, No. 9, Jilong Road, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone; Tel: 021-58697028

To go though Customs registration formalities, enterprises within the zone may choose at their own discretion to apply to go through such formalities at the Customs service window of the General Service Hall or at the competent Customs authority in the places where they are registered. The addresses and telephone numbers of the Customs in charge at the places where a enterprise is registered:
