Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone

The initial phase of Sino-German Ecopark, or Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone, covers an area of 34.92 square kilometers, including Qingdao China-Germany Cooperation Hub and Qingdao China-Japan Cooperation Hub which have already been established as well as Sino-Japanese (Qingdao) Subnational Development and Cooperation Demonstration Zone which is currently under construction.

It focuses on the development of intelligent equipment and robot, integrated circuit, life and health care, energy conservation and environment protection, and new energy and new materials.
