An exhibition displaying Shizhuzhai (“Ten Bamboo Studio”) traditional woodblock printing is now underway in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province. Demonstrating over 50 exquisite pieces of woodblock art, the event also features a handicraft workshop where visitors can learn about ancient woodblock techniques and try their hand at the craft themselves.

Woodblock print embodies painting, sculpture and printing. The technique first appeared in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and reached its peak in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It was inscribed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2014.
