Yantai to build design park

The Yantai High-tech Zone will build a high-standard world design park with a total planned land area of 154.65 hectares.

The park will be built based in the Mashanzhai area, which is an ancient coastal military fortress. The beacon tower on the mountain in the area is a provincial cultural heritage site. The area also has a beach, green land, and the Yantai Museum of China Geological Museum.

The park will host the headquarters of international organizations, R&D and design facilities, an eco-park and businesses related to talent attraction, cultural travel and leisure.
