Let’s look at a precious treasure of the Zhejiang Provincial Museum! The "10,000-hour wedding palanquin" is a woodcarving masterwork from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and one of the most well-preserved and exquisitely crafted sedan chairs. It took over 10,000 man-hours to make.

With delicate round and relief carvings and the decoration of 250 human figures as well as flowers, birds, insects and animals, it indicates the economic prosperity of the Qing Dynasty in East China's coastal city Ningbo.
