GWM Poer delivered a pickup truck on Aug 29 at the Chengdu Motor Show in Sichuan province, which brought its sales to 200,000 units in two years.

This record-breaking achievement across the industry has further boosted the popularity of Great Wall Motors' pickup trucks.

Great Wall Motors is the largest pickup truck maker in China for 23 years. It has a market share of around 50 percent in the country.

At the same event, Poer launched a Qomolangma version pickup, priced from 181,800 yuan ($28,088) to 188,800 yuan, as a token of its off-road capability and its passion for the nature.
