Large donation for medicine and life science of Wuhan University

On August 22, Taikang Insurance Group donated 1 billion yuan to Wuhan University to support the university in developing first-class medicine and life science disciplines and building up its capacity for scientific and technological innovation in the Chinese medical field.
This is the largest donation that Wuhan University has ever received, as well as one of the largest donations in the field of medicine and life science in China.
The fund will be used to foster and introduce leading talents in the medical and life sciences fields on a global scale, and to support outstanding young teachers and researchers.
