Wuxi-based firm makes Forbes 'Cloud 100' ranking

Fanruan Software, a leading business intelligence vendor based in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was included on the 2021 Forbes Cloud 100 list, which is the media outlet's annual ranking of the world's top private cloud companies.

The Forbes Cloud 100 list, which was compiled by Forbes with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures, is the "definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world". It is based on a rigorous evaluation in the areas of leadership, growth, valuation, as well as people and culture.

This year's list included 29 new entrants, including Fanruan Software and two other Chinese cloud companies.

Chen Yan, CEO of Fanruan Software, said that the company has been focusing on the business intelligence field for years. He added that Fanruan Software has a very deep understanding of the information construction situation and needs of Chinese enterprises. It has formed competitive advantages in product positioning, product matrix, advantageous functions, service system, and ecological construction.

Founded in 2006, Fanruan Software has seen rapid growth in the domestic business intelligence software market. In 2020, the company's sales exceeded 840 million yuan ($129.67 million).

In the "Performance of China's Business Intelligence Software Market Vendors in 2020" report published in the 2021 Forbes Cloud 100 list, Fanruan Software once again ranked first, with a market share of 15.7 percent.

Currently, Fanruan Software's products have been applied in the informatization projects of 46,000 enterprises or organizations. The company also provides services for more than 650,000 user developers.
