Yantai bolsters digital economy development

A digital economy incubation base was unveiled in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, on June 30, as part of the city's efforts to promote digital economy development.

Yu Yongxin, director of the city's publicity department, and Gong Quan, Party chief of Laishan district, attended the unveiling ceremony.

Officials said that Yantai is attaching great importance in bolstering digital economy development. The base aims to gather resources related to online media, network technologies, and e-commerce to promote the high-quality development of the city's digital economy.

Sun Yurong, head of Laishan district, said that the district will further improve its business environment and spare great efforts to provide first-class services and create a first-class environment for the enterprises settled in the base.
