World’s grandest dustpan feast held in Guangxi

On July 15, to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the inscription of the local Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art,which announced its World Heritage, Ningming county, in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, held a grand "dustpan feast" with the ethnic Zhuang delicacy.

The bamboo "dustpan" is 10 meters in diameter, upon which fresh banana leaves are laid and a variety of local dishes are served. Locals and tourists alike were invited to enjoy this grand feast in the parking lot of a hotel.

The feast also broke the world record for the largest-sized "dustpan feast".

A signature cuisine of the Zhuang people in the Baise area of Guangxi, a"dustpan feast" usually features a variety of local specialties that are all served on a dustpan padded with banana leaves.
