Produced by the Anhui Provincial Drama Troupe, the children's play The Ugly Duckling, based on the great work by Hans Christian Andersen (1805-75), was staged at the Gengsu Theater in Nantong, Jiangsu province. It presents the essence of this famous fairytale with wonderful performances and vivid stage designs.
