Whenever we talk about our journeys to China, my friends always share their passion for the culture, in addition to the effort into learning the language and the arduous process of applying for a scholarship.
But, my story is completely different! China to me is an unexpected encounter! An adventure I have never thought of.
I am a girl with an ordinary background whose desire to go out into the world always burns in my heart. During my high school years, I secretly dreamt of studying abroad in Europe. But because my family's economic status could not meet it, I sorrowfully buried this dream.
After that, I entered an art university in Vietnam. When I was struggling with a gloomy life, a new opportunity opened up: my university announced that the Chinese government would sponsor a full scholarship for excellent students to study in China. My heart sensed excitement, this is not the country I wanted, but should I risk it once? After pondering for a long time, I decided to apply because I knew I would regret it more if I just sat still and missed this opportunity.
I won it!
I didn't know much about China before. Only when I set foot there, could I open my eyes to a new world where modern life goes along with cultural traditions, (cắt) developing towards the future but still preserving the majestic past.
Modern life here has brought me maximum comfort in daily life. I can really feel what it's like to travel through space to the future. Everything in China is encoded, you just need to bring a phone and you can go anywhere you want, do anything you like.
It seems that there is an invisible tie connecting people to people here. Whether young or old, familiar or unfamiliar, they all understand and voluntarily help me when I need.
(cắt) Thanks to the care of the Chinese government, the burden in the life of an international student has been greatly reduced. I can focus on studying without worrying about the economic problem, my spiritual life is always ensured thanks to extracurricular activities and psychological counseling departments for students in the school.
China helped me write a new chapter in life, a most beautiful unexpected meeting, and an adventure without the word "Regret".
My name is Nguyen Bich Ngoc, 21 years old. I was born and grew up in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. At present, I have been majoring in directing at The Central Academy of Drama, China. I have the opportunity to study in China because the China Scholarship Council ( Chinese Government Scholarship ) sponsored me.
My hobby is producing short videos about the meaning of life. I desire to build beautiful theater plays, TV series, movies both in terms of "outside" and "inside". China is the perfect place for me to develop my talents and dreams. Chinese culture, literature, science, philosophy and especially theater arts have flourished, with many remarkable and worthy achievements.
