International cultural festival held at Shanghai University

The ninth International Cultural Festival recently took place at Shanghai University in East China, providing international students with a stage to show off their talent and national cultures.

The festival featured 15 national stands showcasing the diverse cultures of countries such as Russia, Mexico and Pakistan through displays of folk costumes, crafts and food.

During the festival, international students gave performances including singing, dancing and fashion shows with Chinese students. They also presented special objects from their own countries at the national stands.

Visitors were able to taste culinary specialties offered at the Uzbekistan stall, try on traditional clothes at the South Korean booth and admire amethyst stones brought by Uruguayan students.
