Course Description

· small-classes of no more than 15 students each

(1) Comprehensive Chinese

· Comprehensive Chinese 1:It is designed for beginners. After learning, students can master 300-400 words and around 250 Chinese characters, have basic communication skills (shopping, placing orders, traveling, appointment, etc.), and can pass HSK level 2.

· Comprehensive Chinese 2: It is designed for learners who have mastered 300-400 words and have basic communication skills. After the course students will have mastered 800 words and around 500 Chinese characters, furthering their communication skills (social parties, train travel, hotel stays, talking about the weather, habits and health, etc.), and can pass HSK level 3.

· Comprehensive Chinese 3: It is designed for learners who have mastered 700-800 words and have further communication skills. After the course the students will have mastered 1200 words and 700-800 Chinese characters, have complex communication skills (being interviewed, doing bank business, attending weddings, gift giving, etc.) and can pass HSK level 3.

· Comprehensive Chinese 4: It is designed for learners who have mastered 1200 words and have relatively complex communication skills. After the course, students will have mastered about 2000 words and 1200 Chinese characters, have complex communication skills (description and evaluation of occupation, hobbies, characteristics of people and things, etc.) and can pass HSK level 4.

(2) Business Chinese

· The program is designed for foreigners who have already worked in China and foreign students who hope to do business with Chinese in the future. The applicants will be able to pass New HSK Level 4 or have an equivalent Chinese level.

· Business Chinese, as Chinese for a specific purpose, is a program aimed at developing language skills and communication arts for doing business in China. The program will help students expand their business-related vocabulary, learn business-related sentences and develop communication arts under various business situations. In addition, the program will help students improve the language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) that are vital for business activities and learn Chinese business culture.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

【Morning Class】9:00-12:15 (Beijing Time, including 15min break)

【Evening Class】18:30-20:00 (Beijing Time, no break)

4. Modules: Online course + cultural lecture videos + offline activities.

【Special attention】

①A minimum number of eight students is required to start a class. If there are fewer than 8 students and the class is cancelled, all fees will be refunded.

②Students in the programs cannot apply for a student visa, on-campus accommodation, or a student card.

③Students are required to attend classes every day and take the final exam. Electronic certificates and transcripts will be provided upon the completion of the courses.
